Mark your calendars … we’ve got a big day planned as we celebrate the end of Summer Reading Program and America’s 250th Anniversary!

We’re teaming up with the Village and the Covington-Newberry Historical Society for our annual Touch a Truck event. Explore an incredible lineup of big trucks and heavy machinery - including some exciting new vehicles making their debut this year!

Enjoy face painting, live music, food trucks, hands-on vehicles, and more.

Bring the whole family and help us celebrate a day of community, history, and fun!

Free for everyone!

Have you seen the new mural in town?!

We’re excited to partner with the incredibly talented artist, Dawn Flory Babylon, for a community Mural Coloring Contest!

Stop by the library to pick up your coloring sheet, then put your own creative spin on the mural and “paint” it your way! Dawn herself will judge all entries and award 1 prize for K-2nd grade and 1 prize for 3rd-6th grade. Your completed mural must be returned by Saturday, August 1st to be judged.

Whether you color inside the lines or let your imagination run wild, we can’t wait to see your magical masterpieces!
