Healthy Start provides education, support and proven interventions to expecting and new families who are at-risk of a poor birth outcome or delay in development.

Please help us congratulate our 9 newly trained doulas! 💜

From May 29 to May 31, these women completed doula training and spent three days learning, growing, and preparing to support families in our community.

Doulas play such an important role in helping moms feel supported, heard, and encouraged throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We are excited to see these women bring that care and support to local families.

Tickets are going quickly, and this is one night you do not want to wait on.
Join us Saturday, June 20, 2026, for a special evening made for father figures and daughters of all ages. Enjoy dinner, dancing, games, keepsake photos, and a night full of memories they will talk about long after the music stops.

Dad, grandpa, uncle, stepdad, big brother, or any special father figure is welcome. What matters most is showing up and making your daughter feel celebrated.

🎟️ $30 per father-daughter pair
💛 $5 for each additional daughter
📍 Osceola Middle School Gym

☀️ Summer break is here, and moms, we know the days can feel long.

The kids are home, routines are changing, and finding even a little time for yourself can feel impossible. This is your reminder that you deserve a moment to breathe, talk, laugh, and connect with other moms who understand.

Join us Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM for our moms’ group.

📍 103 SW 3rd Ave, Okeechobee, FL 34974

Come as you are. Bring the kids. Sit with other moms who get what this season feels like. There will be real conversation, encouragement, and a welcoming space to just be yourself.

A free children’s group will be available at the same location, so your little ones can enjoy a safe and fun space while you take a little time for yourself.

Summer can be busy, loud, and a lot to carry. You do not have to do it alone. We would love to see you there. 💛

Expecting or recently had a baby? This event is for you. 💕

Join us for our Doula Lunch & Learn on Saturday, June 13th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Okeechobee.

This free lunch and learn is a great opportunity to learn what a doula is, how doula support can help during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and what local services are available to support you and your family.

We’ll cover:
✨ What a doula does
✨ Why doula support matters
✨ Available labor and postpartum services
✨ Mental health and emotional wellness
✨ Comfort measures for pregnancy and birth

Lunch will be provided, and all are welcome, including expecting parents, new parents, partners, and anyone who wants to learn more.

What a great turnout at our FREE CPR Educational Class ❤️👏 The classroom was completely full, and we are so thankful to everyone who attended and took the time to learn these lifesaving skills.

A big thank you to Okeechobee Fire Rescue 🚒 and the Okeechobee Library 📚 for hosting and helping make this class possible!

We’re already looking forward to the next class, now scheduled for August 4th ✨ Stay tuned for more details!
