💙We are so Excited and Grateful to have Mrs. Kim Rathbun join The Nest this year! She has joined our Rock Star 4th grade team and we couldn't be happier!
💙Mrs. Rathbun is starting her 28th year in the district and is a FLDOE recognized High Impact Teacher- 4 times recognized!
💙In fact, last year while at Everglades Elementary, 95% of her students made Learning Gains in Math, 87% were Proficient(score of 3, 4 or 5) in Math, and 66% were Proficient in Science! 》🔹️》ALL of those being much higher than state averages! WOW!!🌟 💙🤍🦅

💙Our 4th & 5th grade Eagles will be working toward earning Google Industry Certifications this 2026-27 school year as part of our AVID School goals. This will increase increase pathways for them to our secondary Career & Tech programs! 💙🤍🦅

💙👨‍💻👩‍💻5th Grade C.T.E. (Career & Technical Education) Industry Certification Exams were today!
💙We are in our 3rd year of this endeavor as part of our AVID School initiative and we now have had Eagles earn a total of 96 industry certifications!
⭐️🦅We had 13 Fifth grade students who have passed the Google Slides exam today with the highest elementary passage rate in the district! Congratulations, Eagles and teachers on all your hard work!!🎉
