We have been made aware that some residents are receiving phone calls from individuals claiming to represent banks in Oklahoma. These callers may already have some of your personal information, which can make the call seem legitimate.

PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE THEM WITH ANY ADDITIONAL PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION. THIS IS A SCAM!

If you receive one of these calls, please hang up. If you are concerned that the call may have been legitimate, contact your bank directly using a phone number you know to be valid—not a number provided by the caller.

When in doubt, hang up and call your bank directly.

Please share this information with family, friends, and neighbors to help keep our community safe.

UPDATE: The water is back on! If you still have no water, please contact our crew at 580-822-3035. Thank you for your patience.

There is a major water leak on N. Phillips. The town crew will have to shut water off to make repairs and conserve water. We do not know at this time when water will be shut off or how long water will be off. We will update as new information comes available.

This is for residents on North and South Phillips, South 6th St, South 5th St, and possibly East side of South Main Street.

Excessive heat and dry conditions have resulted in increased fire danger across most of Oklahoma. Please do you part to prevent wildfires Oklahoma! In addition to these reminders, please:
Report suspected wildfire activity to 911.
Avoid areas where wildfire activity is occurring.
Heed evacuation notice from law enforcement and emergency management officials.

🚧💦 Our Town Crew Is On It! 💪

A BIG thank you to our dedicated Town crew for coming in on the weekend to tackle a water leak and get to work keeping our community’s water system running! 👏

Our water lines are aging, and with a limited crew, these repairs can be challenging and time-consuming. But our crew continues to step up, work hard, and do whatever it takes to get the job done—even on weekends and in the Oklahoma heat! ☀️💪

We know the work may sometimes cause a little inconvenience, but please know our crew is working hard behind the scenes to take care of these issues as quickly and safely as possible.

💙 We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and commitment of our Town crew. They may be a small crew, but they have a BIG impact on our community!

UPDATE: OG&E just went through Kingfisher. We are still waiting on him. OMPA is here and ready to assist him if needed.

If your house gets too hot and you need somewhere to cool down, the council room will be open as a cooling station. You are welcome to come and stay until the power is restored. If you need assistance, please let us know.
