Today August 30, 2026 at 3:00 pm on Elephant In The Room, JJ Humphrey will have a special guest Sean Buckner to discuss the current conditions of the Oklahoma Department Of Corrections. Sean produces a social media platform called Sean Buckner Transparency. He has been posting some very remarkable and informative stories about the conditions of our prisons. JJ and Bobby Cleveland have been reporting on these conditions for over four years. It is refreshing to hear another source, Sean Buckner, reporting on the same inexcusable conditions. The number of recent murders, inmates missing for days without notice, the growing numbers of assaults on staff and the severity of assaults on staff is alarming. The heat in prisons is also unbelievable. What makes the story on the heat situation more intriguing is the state purchased air conditioners but the expensive air condition units were never installed. Employees report the units mysteriously disappeared. The Department is claiming the conditions of prisons are improving but based on the evidence that is just another lie in an increasing line of dubious claims.
