I’m taking a moment here to wish you all a Happy Memorial Day! Memorial Day is when we remember and honor those who fought and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. FREEDOM is not Free, it has been PAID FOR by the many who suffered in order that we can REMAIN free and MAINTAIN our liberties. President Regan said “Freedom is never more than one Generation from Extinction.” These words ring so very true today. Abraham Lincoln said in his Gettysburg address, “highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” Our form of government is a REPUBLIC and encourages us to be involved and engaged. Let’s take a moment out and appreciate our form of Government, the BEST in the World. Let’s also take some time out and appreciate our families, friends and neighbors especially during this difficult time in our World. Let’s stay UNITED and recognize those who try to divide us.

A PROCLAMATION


In our times of greatest need, Americans have always turned to prayer to help guide us through trials and periods of uncertainty. As we continue to face the unique challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, millions of Americans are unable to gather in their churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, and other houses of worship. But in this time we must not cease asking God for added wisdom, comfort, and strength, and we must especially pray for those who have suffered harm or who have lost loved ones. I ask you to join me in a day of prayer for all people who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic and to pray for God's healing hand to be placed on the people of our Nation.

As your President, I ask you to pray for the health and well-being of your fellow Americans and to remember that no problem is too big for God to handle. We should all take to heart the holy words found in 1 Peter 5:7: "Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you." Let us pray that all those affected by the virus will feel the presence of our Lord's protection and love during this time. With God's help, we will overcome this threat.

On Friday, I declared a national emergency and took other bold actions to help deploy the full power of the Federal Government to assist with efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic. I now encourage all Americans to pray for those on the front lines of the response, especially our Nation's outstanding medical professionals and public health officials who are working tirelessly to protect all of us from the coronavirus and treat patients who are infected; all of our courageous first responders, National Guard, and dedicated individuals who are working to ensure the health and safety of our communities; and our Federal, State, and local leaders. We are confident that He will provide them with the wisdom they need to make difficult decisions and take decisive actions to protect Americans all across the country. As we come to our Father in prayer, we remember the words found in Psalm 91: "He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust."

As we unite in prayer, we are reminded that there is no burden too heavy for God to lift or for this country to bear with His help. Luke 1:37 promises that "For with God nothing shall be impossible," and those words are just as true today as they have ever been. As one Nation under God, we are greater than the hardships we face, and through prayer and acts of compassion and love, we will rise to this challenge and emerge stronger and more united than ever before. May God bless each of you, and may God bless the United States of America.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. As of close of business this Sunday October 13th Azzinaros pizzeria will be closing the doors for the last time.

Gloria and I would like to take this time to tell all the best customers in the world THANK YOU not only for your friendships but for making it so hard to give up. We will miss serving you but I want to get back to my first loves and serve them God and Family. Over the past few years I have missed out on so many things and my family although awesome and supportive they missed me and I’m sure we’re disappointed. Time was just passing by too fast. Days turned into weeks and weeks into years it got to the point where it didn’t matter what day it was because I knew where I’d be.

Last year I lost my father and it was a tough time and you all seen me through the pain and sorrow. I really will miss you all but it also made me realize time is short and I want it to go to my family, those who need it right now and those who want it.

Some rumors might fly and some might think they know differently but rest assure other than mourning all the lost friendships of staff and customers, We’re at peace with this decision. Thank you again for all your support.

There is an issue with recycling. It is a nation-wide issue. Here is a video to explain the situation. Many years back, I remember collecting bottles and cans and getting money for them. I would think that there is a solution to this problem. If we put our heads together and do some research, maybe we can find a solution! This is who I am supporting for school board. We need board members that are NOT a rubber stamp, read all the necessary documents and make informed decisions about our children's education. Our schools should never become indoctrination centers for the government and the public has a right to vote in the right type of individuals that will truly care about our children's education!

3/8/2019 - PSE&G Infrastructure Upgrades - Southwood PSE&G GAS INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES – SOUTHWOOD COMMUNITY PSE&G Contractors will begin gas infrastructure upgrades within the Southwood Community beginning on or about April 15, 2019. Construction work will include the replacement of old aging gas mains and service lines include restoration of pavement and lawn areas. Residents will receive further notification via door hangers once the work is set to begin. Portions of the following streets will be effected for this project: Southwood Drive, Andover Road, Huxley Drive, Beverly Road, Concord Drive, Longview Road, Dogwood Lane, Dorset Road, Ernest Street, Avon Court and Sherwood Lane.

Because of the holidays and the snow storm there hasn't been any garbage pickup in Ward 5 since the 28th of December... and I'm sure in other parts of the town it's been the same way. I know it's the weekend but I don't know what we're going to do until that garbage pickup on Monday.... is there anything that Township can do on an emergency basis or any other suggestions that the residents can do for the garbage that we have around town......
