Old Bridge Hospital Support Event

To all,

This is an after-hour volunteer event, asked by the hospital management to assist in arranging. They are calling a clap out event to assist with raising of the hospital staff’s spirits. We have been informed that they have been going nonstop for 2 years dealing with Covid care in the hospital.

We want to make sure they know our community appreciates them and their continued efforts each day.

Thank you in advance for the support of this event and we thank you all for your service to the Old Bridge community as well.

Please spread the word to other OB support services and invite them to join us for this event. Thursday, February 10th from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The setup location is the parking lot at the back of the main Hospital building. Just to the left as you enter on Avalon way. Where the small valet parking tent is usually setup. The meeting time will start at 6:pm for a 6:30 shift change.

I’m taking a moment here to wish you all a Happy Memorial Day! Memorial Day is when we remember and honor those who fought and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. FREEDOM is not Free, it has been PAID FOR by the many who suffered in order that we can REMAIN free and MAINTAIN our liberties. President Regan said “Freedom is never more than one Generation from Extinction.” These words ring so very true today. Abraham Lincoln said in his Gettysburg address, “highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” Our form of government is a REPUBLIC and encourages us to be involved and engaged. Let’s take a moment out and appreciate our form of Government, the BEST in the World. Let’s also take some time out and appreciate our families, friends and neighbors especially during this difficult time in our World. Let’s stay UNITED and recognize those who try to divide us.

Due to last weekend's success, we have decided to extend the park hours. Starting tomorrow, Veterans, Geick and Mannino parks will be open from 7 am to 7 pm daily.




Please be advised Amboy Bank Contractors will be performing pavement widening work on Old Amboy Road, weather permitting, on Monday April 27th, 2020 for the duration of 1 day. Old Amboy Road will be closed in the northbound direction from approximately 7 am to 6pm. Old Amboy Road will remain open with a lane shift in and around the proximity of the Amboy Bank Office Building construction site located adjacent to WaWa. a tentative rain date of Tuesday April 28th,2020 is scheduled if necessary.

There is an issue with recycling. It is a nation-wide issue. Here is a video to explain the situation. Many years back, I remember collecting bottles and cans and getting money for them. I would think that there is a solution to this problem. If we put our heads together and do some research, maybe we can find a solution! Here is the link:
This is who I am supporting for school board. We need board members that are NOT a rubber stamp, read all the necessary documents and make informed decisions about our children's education. Our schools should never become indoctrination centers for the government and the public has a right to vote in the right type of individuals that will truly care about our children's education!


PSE&G Contractor, Crisdel Group will begin its final pavement restoration for the Gas infrastructure upgrades within the Southwood Community on Wednesday October 2nd and will take approximately 4 days to complete weather permitting. The following roads will be milled and paved:
