Sorry to see them go. Love these guys always so pleasant and friendly! God Bless!

As of close of business this Sunday October 13th Azzinaros pizzeria will be closing the doors for the last time.

Gloria and I would like to take this time to tell all the best customers in the world THANK YOU not only for your friendships but for making it so hard to give up. We will miss serving you but I want to get back to my first loves and serve them God and Family. Over the past few years I have missed out on so many things and my family although awesome and supportive they missed me and I’m sure we’re disappointed. Time was just passing by too fast. Days turned into weeks and weeks into years it got to the point where it didn’t matter what day it was because I knew where I’d be.

Last year I lost my father and it was a tough time and you all seen me through the pain and sorrow. I really will miss you all but it also made me realize time is short and I want it to go to my family, those who need it right now and those who want it.

Some rumors might fly and some might think they know differently but rest assure other than mourning all the lost friendships of staff and customers, We’re at peace with this decision. Thank you again for all your support.

See you around town Old Bridge❤️

John, Gloria, Thomas, Amanda and Becky

Old Bridge NOW

Old Bridge Public Library dedication ceremony in memory of Arthur M Haney
Sunday September 22nd at 12 p.m.

The public is welcome to attend

Art held numerous appointed offices from 1976 to the present. Beginning with his service on the Old Bridge Township Industrial Commission, as well as the Old Bridge Township Transportation Committee, Sewerage Authority, and Planning Board, the Middlesex County School Board of Estimate, as well as Commissioner, Middlesex County Board of Taxation for twenty years. He was presently serving as the Chairman of the Old Bridge Municipal Utilities Authority and Chairman of the Old Bridge Redevelopment Agency. He was an engaged and active Republican throughout his years of service, most recently proudly serving as the Chairman of the Old Bridge Republican Party.

Art was most notably known as Mayor, Old Bridge Township (1988 – 1991), and held numerous other elected offices. Before his service as Mayor, he was elected Councilman, Old Bridge Township, serving two terms (1984 – 1987) and after his service as Mayor, he was elected Middlesex County Freeholder (1992 – 1994).
Art dedicated his life to serving his family and community and lived a faith focused life as an active parishioner of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church. He became involved in public service and politics not for the glory or recognition, but to help his neighbors and community. He was gifted with a sharp intellect, charming smile, magnetic presence, wonderful wit, and cheerful disposition. His oratory and storytelling were powerful, but he needed no words - his actions alone spoke volumes. His work ethic was incomparable. He lived life fully, never afraid of a new challenge or the possibility of failure. Always willing to give his best to a worthy cause, he was humble in his success and dignified in defeat. Art was admired and respected for his thoughtful leadership, pragmatic approach, and skillful ability to build consensus and achieve lasting results. Most notably, the creation of the Old Bridge Public Library during his tenure as Mayor, and his stewardship of the Old Bridge Municipal Utilities Authority, which brought advancements establishing it as one of New Jersey's safest and technologically advanced water and wastewater providers. Because of his consistent focus on fiscal responsibility, thoughtful land use and planning, and good government, his accomplishments were many and the community stronger for it.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, August 15th, police were alerted to several black males pulling on door handles and looking into cars in the Sayrewoods South area of Old Bridge. At 3:37am Officer Hall apprehended and arrested one of the suspects: a juvenile from Newark who admitted he was part of a group who had used Uber to travel to Old Bridge with intentions of doing car burglaries and auto thefts. Items he had stolen from multiple vehicles were found on his person. The juvenile was found to have warrants from Sussex and Essex counties. In addition to multiple car burglaries being reported in Old Bridge on this night, there were also two vehicles stolen: a Nissan Rogue from the 100 block of Cindy Street and a Mazda 3 from Sioux Street.

Police are asking the public’s assistance with this case. If you live in the Sayrewoods South area and have any type of outside surveillance video, please check your video system between the hours of midnight and 5am to see if you have captured any video of these suspects. Special attention to Adams, Cindy, Sioux, Rittner, Arden and Bushnell. If you have video containing the images of these suspects, please contact Detective Addie Spinola at (732) 721-5600 x3181.

The Old Bridge Police Department would like to remind you to lock your vehicles and not keep any valuables inside, as car burglaries are becoming more prevalent.
Thank you.

I would like to ask Old Bridge residents a question:

Would you be interested in getting together as a buying unit and negotiate a better deal with a single garbage hauler?

The town cannot intervene with the garbage haulers because of state restrictions. There is a way to do it but I don't suggest going with the town running it.

So, please think about it, talk to your neighbors and post your response here...

Foxborough Village power is out
Because of the holidays and the snow storm there hasn't been any garbage pickup in Ward 5 since the 28th of December... and I'm sure in other parts of the town it's been the same way. I know it's the weekend but I don't know what we're going to do until that garbage pickup on Monday.... is there anything that Township can do on an emergency basis or any other suggestions that the residents can do for the garbage that we have around town...... Thank you George Gough
