**IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE**
As part of the upcoming North Avenue Waterline Replacement Project, underground utilities have been marked by J.U.L.I.E. using colored flags and paint.

We have been made aware that many of these flags are being removed by residents. Please do not remove or disturb any of these utility markings as they are critical for safety. They show the underground gas, electric, water, sewer, and communication lines in utility right-of-way so crews can avoid damaging them during construction.

Removing these flags can create a serious risk of injury, service outages, and/or project delays.

The IL Underground Utility Facilities Damage Prevention Act declares these marking as a legal requirement and must remain in place. Any damage that occurs as a result of removed or disturbed markings may result in associated repair costs, damages, or citations.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping this infrastructure project remain safe and on schedule. Please leave the flags and markings as-is until removed by the contractor. Thank you!
