What motivated/inspired you to start your own business in this industry?
I had worked within the industry for 10 years and moving from project management to business owner seemed like a natural transition.

Did you have role model or mentor who supported you?
I was fortunate to have several mentors, Kevin Christensen with Christensen Inc., Lonny Loiselle, formerly with Varco Pruden Buildings and Diana Drake, former SBA 8(a) Business Development Specialist.

Do you have any advice or lessons learned about the construction industry you can share?
It’s critical to surround yourself with an exceptional team of advisors that support your business growth and development; specifically bonding and insurance, accounting and legal counsel.

Our metal fabrication division has come a long way in the past six years. Donny had a vision and along with Zack’s help, they built an incredible team and reputation. Over the years they’ve expanded our capabilities from handrails, HVAC stands, custom pizza ovens, ladders to multi-million dollar metal fabrication packages for State and local municipalities. I am incredibly proud of what they’ve built and accomplished. Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to our Metal Fabrication team.

24,000 square feet removal and replacement of roof and rusted out bolts and purlins in less than three weeks. Our metal fab division enlisted the help of our carpenters to make it happen for this amazing horse arena renovation.

RHD Enterprises, Inc. is incredibly honored and proud to be the general contractor on the Tumwater Historic Brewery Tower Renovation project. We had the golden trowel event today honoring the history of this building, the impact on the community and the renovation work underway. So thrilled to be a local Tumwater business working on this historic project and look forward to sharing more pictures as the work progresses.

Gorgeous curved catwalk by our metal fabrication shop. This beauty will soon be installed 90' up above a 7-story glass rotunda by our team of experts. And yes, those are skeletons hanging in the shop. Doesn't everyone have them?
