👩‍🍳💛 Meet Chef Jen! 💛👩‍🍳

Our August Employee of the Month, Jennifer Morgan, got a very special surprise today: her very own custom “Chef Jen” apron! And trust us, she has absolutely earned it. 😍

Once a week, Jen hosts Cooking With Jen, and it has quickly become one of those activities our residents genuinely look forward to. There is always something delicious in the works, plenty of conversation, and usually a few very eager taste testers nearby. 😂🍪🍰

Jen brings so much more than great food to Edenbrook Omro. She brings creativity, fun, consistency, and those little moments that make our residents’ days feel special.

We are incredibly happy to have her as part of our team, and we hope she wears that apron with a whole lot of pride. 💛

🌺🍹 Aloha from Edenbrook Omro! 🍹🌺

Our residents enjoyed a tropical getaway today without ever leaving the building! We broke out the leis, bright colors, island decorations, and of course, a Luau Happy Hour that brought plenty of smiles. 🌴😎

Staff got in on the fun too, showing up in their best Hawaiian inspired outfits because around here, if there is a theme, we are COMMITTING to it. 😂🌺

There was good music, good company, festive drinks, and enough tropical energy to make us forget for a minute that we were still in Wisconsin.

These are the kinds of afternoons we love most. A little silliness, a lot of laughter, and another great memory made together. 💛

🍊☀️ When life gives you sunshine… add a Creamsicle! ☀️🍊

Friday, August 14th was National Creamsicle Day, and our residents knew exactly how to celebrate. A little fresh air, a little sunshine, and a frozen orange treat in hand made for a pretty perfect summer afternoon! 😎

And don’t worry, our staff weren’t left out of the fun. Team THRIVE made sure Creamsicles were available for every shift, because apparently one of the quickest ways to boost morale is to put something orange and frozen in the Activity Room freezer. 😂🧡

We may only have one picture from the day, but it pretty much says it all: good weather, good company, and nobody turning down a Creamsicle.

Sometimes the sweetest memories really are the simplest ones. 💛

🌸💐 Who needs a florist when you have this much talent under one roof?! 💐🌸

Our residents spent part of the weekend turning buckets of beautiful blooms into their very own floral arrangements, and the results were absolutely gorgeous! There may have been a few stems trimmed a little too enthusiastically and enough petals on the tables to start our own flower shop, but that is all part of the creative process. 😂🌷

Each arrangement came out completely unique, just like the person who made it. Seeing everyone choose their flowers, put their own touch on their bouquets, and proudly show off the finished product made this activity extra special. 💛

Sometimes the simplest things, a table full of flowers, good conversation, and a little creativity, make for the sweetest afternoons. 🌻

And judging by these smiles, we may officially have a few new Edenbrook Omro florists on our hands! 🌺😉
