June 11 Progress Hub!

We'll have a speaker in to speak on economics— Not in the way we think of economics and the ways our lives are intertwined, but looking at new possibilites. How can we build democratic economies and what could that look like?

Our democracy hub will be set up with information in one of the classrooms, with information you need for civic action, voting rights and more.

Our urgent needs collections for this week are : Fresh produce, Maseca corn flour, tinned proteins, cooking oil, pasta, cereal, rice, dry beans, canned vegetables, childrens' snacks, shelf-stable milk, paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. Thank you for whatever you're able to contribute!

We’re Crossing the Bridge on Juneteenth.

Voting Rights are under attack all across the country and especially here in Florida. Rightwing legislators are trying to redraw maps to undermine Black political power.

But Voting Rights were paid for in blood, sweat and tears by the Civil Rights movement and we will not allow them to be rolled back.

We are organizing weekly canvasses every Wednesday at 5PM and Saturday at 10AM and we need all hands on deck to reach voters across the district in multiple languages and communities.
