Strong when it counts. Calm in the chaos. Showing up, no matter what.

That’s what our firefighters do.
That’s what moms do too.

To the moms in our department and the ones out in our community, you handle it all. Long days, tough moments, and everything in between, and you still find a way to make it happen.

Tough, resilient, and just a little bit unstoppable.
Yeah… like a mother.

Happy Mother’s Day

Throughout the weekend, and especially on Sunday, you may notice flags flying at half-staff across our community.

This is in observance of National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, held each year in honor of the brave firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

We take this time to honor their sacrifice, support their families, and reflect on the courage and commitment shown by those who serve.

Please join us in remembering our fallen firefighters.

Saturday morning may have started off gray and rainy, but that didn’t stop Shoreline Fire from getting the job done. Live fire training like this is an incredible opportunity for our crews to gain hands-on experience in a controlled environment- training that directly translates to safer, more effective emergency response.

A huge thank you to all of the partner agencies and organizations who came together to make this possible. These trainings truly take a team, and we’re grateful for the collaboration and support.

Have a property that may be a candidate for a future training burn? If you’re considering leveling a structure and want to learn more about donating it for training, visit shorelinefiremn.gov for more information.

And what’s next for this site? Be sure to check out the exciting vision for the future at oronorink.com, it’s something the whole community can look forward to.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this a success!
