After 29 years of dedicated service to the City of Osseo, Blyann is retiring.

For nearly three decades, Blyann has been a steady and valued part of the City, helping support our department leaders and doing so much behind the scenes to help keep the City running smoothly. During her time with Osseo, she has worked alongside six police chiefs, three mayors, and numerous City Council members, leaving a lasting impact on the organization and the people she has worked with throughout the years.

While we are happy for Blyann as she begins this next chapter, her retirement is certainly bittersweet for the City of Osseo. Her knowledge, dedication, and presence will be greatly missed.

Please join us in thanking Blyann for her 29 years of service to our community and wishing her all the best in retirement!

Finally! The City of Osseo is excited to share that the Wisconsin DNR has officially approved the repairs to the catwalk at our dam, and we have now received authorization to begin filling the lake back to normal operating levels.

Residents can expect to see the lake rise approximately 6 inches per day over the coming days as levels gradually return to normal.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding throughout this process.

Attention Osseo Residents:

This afternoon, the Osseo Fire Department responded to a large barn fire in the Foster area. Multiple surrounding departments assisted with fire suppression efforts, and a substantial amount of water was required in order to bring the fire under control.

As crews work to move water and refill our well stations, residents may notice some temporary water discoloration. At this time, we are not certain if this will occur, but we wanted to be transparent and make residents aware of the possibility.

The City of Osseo would like to remind residents that Friday, May 15, 2026, is recognized as Peace Officers Memorial Day as part of National Police Week.

Governor Evers has ordered the United States and Wisconsin flags to be flown at half staff tomorrow in honor of the law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Police Week serves as a time to recognize and thank the brave men and women in law enforcement who work each day to protect our communities, while also remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.

We encourage residents, businesses, and organizations to join in honoring their dedication and service by flying flags at half staff.

As a reminder, the City of Osseo is not involved in the development or approval process for this proposed project. Any approvals or decisions moving forward would fall under the jurisdiction of Trempealeau County.

Public input is an important part of the process, and we appreciate residents taking the time to stay informed and involved.
