Colorado Flying Pig

The Colorado Flying Pig offers the comforts you seek after a day in the Colorado mountains! This post and beam barn has been converted into a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home--a king master bedroom with ensuite dressing room and bathroom. The queen bedroom and bath has the charm of its origin as a tack room. The bunk room upstairs can sleep 4 (twin beds) and provides lots of space for children to play. There is an internet station for checking emails too! In December, this area turns into a winter playground. Skiing in Telluride or Crested Butte (we're halfway between), ice climbing in Ouray, hot springs in several locations, and snowshoeing, cross country skiing and sledding right outside of your door, you have found your winter wonderland. In the summertime, you have access to the Uncompahgre River for fishing, tubing, and rafting. Ridgway State Park is within .5 mile and other State and National Parks are easy driving distance in every direction! Antique shops, art galleries and other shopping can be found in Montrose, Ridgway and Ouray, right nearby. A wide variety of Restaurants can also be found there, as well as groceries.
