‼️‼️We are in need of volunteers specifically for Book Sale set up from 8:00-10:00 am on Saturday (Owosso Library), June 6, and the Duck Race on Sunday, June 7, from 2:45-4:00 pm (Curwood Castle Park).

Want to support the Friends of the Library and the Shiawassee District Library, but not sure how? We are in need of VOLUNTEERS over Curwood weekend! Check out some of the opportunities to help support the Friends, the Library, and our community.

Book donations now being accepted at the Owosso Library for our Summer Book Sale! Book sorting will start June 3, so drop off your donations soon!

‼️We are still looking for volunteers (teens, adults, groups, etc.) to help set up the Summer Book Sale on Saturday June 6 from 8:00-10:00 am. Comment here, PM us, or email [email protected] for more info or to sign up!

We are accepting donations of used books in good condition for the Friends of the Library book sale held on Saturday, June 6th on the library lawn.

Did you know you can purchase your Duck Race tickets online?! Thanks to the Curwood Festival, Inc. for making this possible! Duck tickets are $5 each and you do NOT need to be present to win the race on Sunday, June 7 (though it will be a good time down on the river!).

🦆Ducks are $5 each!
🎟️ Tickets also available at the Shiawassee District Library Owosso and Curwood Festival Office!
🌊The race will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 3:00 pm (starting at the footbridge near the castle!)
