PADEN CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE

The town city wide garage sale will be held on Saturday September 19, 2026. If anyone plans to have a sale this year please let me know at the town hall. There is a $4 fee to have a yard sale during our city wide. You can come by to see me or can call the town phone number @405-932-4441. If I am not there when you come by just leave me a note in the drop box with your name, address of where the sale will be at, your $4 fee, & a good contact number. If you call & I don’t answer, I do check the missed call logs & I will get back with you as soon as I can. I will be putting an add in the Prague & Okemah paper the week of the sale. Please share with everyone you know that may be interested.

If anyone misplaced a bike helmet, please contact Town Hall at 405-932-4441. Please tell us the color of the helmet to claim!

We are having some issues at the well so the water pressure is low right now.
Austin is currently working on the problem so the pressure should be back up later this afternoon.

David and Paula Allen once again making our Main Street looking festive for the 4th of July!!
This year we’ve added a couple of “new “ businesses on Main!
Rusty and Tanner Barnes have purchased the old Post Office/Igleheart building. Monty and Mickey White have purchased the old beauty shop for their Hope Monument business!
Also we want to thank David McNabb/Signs & Wonders, for the beautiful “”250 flag for our park!!
It’s people like all of these that help make our community a great place to live!!

The phone line has been down at Paden Town Hall.
We are on schedule for it to be fixed by 3:00 pm, Tuesday, June 16.

Also a “big Thank you “ to David and Paula Allen for again volunteering to hang the red, white and blue banners!
These were donated by David and Paula a couple of years ago!
David and Paula are always willing to spend their time in hanging them!!

Paden has some great people that take pride in our community and are always willing to help out!!

We want to send out a “big Thank You” to those that volunteered their time, Wendell Brown, Caleb, Kim, Kaleigh, Easton and little Ms Kenley for helping us get the cemetery prepared for the Memorial Day weekend.

Also a huge thank you to David McNabb for always being willing to lend a hand (or equipment) to help us out!
He replaced the rope on our flag pole at the park!!

Wendell spent 2 1/2 days volunteering to make 50 new crosses and new holders, plus painting them.

Caleb - Paden Fire Department - cleaned under the pavilion at the cemetery.

Kimberly, Kaleigh, and Easton helped with placement of the flags!

Oakdale / Paden Cemetery - Memorial Day Service will be Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Military Service will begin at 11:00 am.

Donations for upkeep of the cemetery, will be accepted Sunday morning or may be dropped off at the Paden Town Hall or can be mailed to:
