Also a “big Thank you “ to David and Paula Allen for again volunteering to hang the red, white and blue banners!
These were donated by David and Paula a couple of years ago!
David and Paula are always willing to spend their time in hanging them!!

Paden has some great people that take pride in our community and are always willing to help out!!

We want to send out a “big Thank You” to those that volunteered their time, Wendell Brown, Caleb, Kim, Kaleigh, Easton and little Ms Kenley for helping us get the cemetery prepared for the Memorial Day weekend.

Also a huge thank you to David McNabb for always being willing to lend a hand (or equipment) to help us out!
He replaced the rope on our flag pole at the park!!

Wendell spent 2 1/2 days volunteering to make 50 new crosses and new holders, plus painting them.

Caleb - Paden Fire Department - cleaned under the pavilion at the cemetery.

Kimberly, Kaleigh, and Easton helped with placement of the flags!

Oakdale / Paden Cemetery - Memorial Day Service will be Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Military Service will begin at 11:00 am.

Donations for upkeep of the cemetery, will be accepted Sunday morning or may be dropped off at the Paden Town Hall or can be mailed to:
Paden Town Hall, P. O. Box 65, Paden, OK 74860

We are still on schedule for trash pickup today.
Paden’s pickup will be later from now on. We are on the back side of the pickup now.
Please be patient with us, we are trying to pass along what GFL is telling us.

REMINDER::
Thursday trash pickup will begin TOMORROW, May 7!

We are sorry about the mixup on the trash pick up. Town Hall was informed there would not be any pickup today but evidently the driver did not get the memo!
We have called to GFL and they weren’t aware he was here.
SO, if your trash was not out today they will be back on Thursday!

REMINDER: Trash will NOT be picked up tomorrow (Monday).
It will be picked up on Thursday, May 7.

Beginning next week, garbage pickup for the Town of Paden will change from Mondays to Thursday.
There will be NO pickup on Monday, May 4. Next pickup date will be THURSDAY, MAY 7, 2026.
If you have extra bags of garbage, they will pick it up at this time. (NO large items- only bags of trash.)

Also if you have been sitting out an extra trash can, that is your own personal one, it will no longer be picked up- only if you have been paying for the extra can that you have received from us/Central Disposal.

Remember- beginning next week, garbage pickup will change to THURSDAY!!
Dumpster pickup will remain on Tuesday.
