Today, Kristina McCloy and I filed objections with the Illinois State Board of Elections challenging more than 20,000 petition signatures submitted by an independent candidate for Governor.

The filing raises concerns regarding the validity of numerous signatures and alleges the use of paid out-of-state petition circulators. The Board of Elections will now review the objections and determine whether the petitions meet Illinois ballot access requirements.

For context, the Bailey/Del Mar campaign states that its ballot petitions were gathered entirely by volunteers and supporters.

Illinois has a choice.

More of the same... or a new direction.

Higher taxes, rising costs, and families leaving our state, or leadership focused on affordability, public safety, and growing Illinois again.

If the election were held today, who gets your vote?

linois Democrats are working on nearly $900 million in new taxes and fees while families are already struggling with rising property taxes, higher utility bills, and the cost of living.

At what point does Springfield look at its spending instead of your wallet?

Illinois doesn’t have a revenue problem. It has a spending problem.

Enough is enough.

Sheridan Gorman’s killer just caught another charge for hiding a shank in jail. And JB Pritzker is proud of letting him and 1,700 other illegal criminals walk free.

The man accused of fatally shooting Loyola University Chicago student Sheridan Gorman is facing new charges after Cook County jail staff found him with a shank, the sheriff’s office announced.

Almost everyday we hear a story like this one: a 12 year old boy was grazed by gunfire Thursday. But don't worry, JB Pritzker says crime is down.
