๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Pride Lives Here ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ

Pride Month is less than three weeks away! Help make support, acceptance, and belonging visible across Palatine!

The Community Mental Health Project is proud to partner with Northwest Suburban Pride & Action Network and Glens Friends for a community-wide Palatine Pride yard sign campaign supporting local LGBTQ+ mental health programs and initiatives right here in Palatine.

With a contribution of $20 or more, supporters will receive a complimentary Palatine Pride yard sign delivered directly to their home by local volunteers.

These signs are more than decorations. Theyโ€™re visible reminders that LGBTQ+ individuals and families are valued, supported, and welcome in our community.

Together, we can help build a more compassionate and inclusive Palatine for all.

Adult ADHD is not one-size-fits-all. The way ADHD shows up, feels, and affects daily life can vary widely from person to person โ€” and the conversation around ADHD is often shaped by many different voices, including adults with lived experience, coaches, advocates, researchers, and clinicians.

In this webinar, Dr. Alex Conner will unpack adult ADHD through the balance of lived experience and evidence-based information. He will explore where different ADHD perspectives align, where they may disagree, and what we can learn when we listen to a wider range of ADHD voices.

With a mix of education, honesty, and humor, this session will help participants better understand the diversity within neurodiversity, consider how evidence-based ADHD information can feel in real life, and reflect on how we can challenge stigma and misinformation while still making room for the messy, human side of adult ADHD.

Learning Objectives:

-To understand the diversity within neurodiversity
-To have evidence-based ADHD information and to hear how that feels from a lived experience perspective
-To have a little bit of fun with the world of adult ADHD
