Car sharing members essentially forgo the expense of vehicle ownership, insurance, and maintenance by renting vehicles by the hour, day, and as needed for a fraction of the cost. And, it's good for the environment because it reduces emissions that affect air quality, in addition to helping mitigate traffic congestion and parking shortages in municipalities.
