Association of Bay County Educators - ABCE

The Association of Bay County Educators (ABCE) is the bargaining representative for educators of Bay

The Association of Bay County Educators (ABCE) is a professional organization that brings teachers together so that our voices as education professionals can be heard. When you become a member of ABCE, you are supporting an organization that is working through the school system, the community, and the state legislature to build support for higher standards of conduct and achievement in Bay County classrooms. ABCE membership includes local, regional, state, and national affiliations and you can be confident that the interests of our students not only locally but nationally are being addressed to benefit their public school education. ABCE maintains an open line of communication with Bay District officials, thus providing an opportunity to advocate for teachers while maintaining the rights and working conditions delineated in the Master Contract. ABCE also sends local lobbyists to Tallahassee during the legislative session to raise the awareness level of pending legislation and its impact on education.

📢Tell your lawmakers to stand with workers and vote NO on SB 1296: https://bit.ly/40eOlCd

MUST WATCH: someone who doesn’t live in Florida and who isn’t a public employee in Florida claims he knows YOUR needs at work and in your community better than YOU. SB 1296 is meant to make life harder for Florida’s teachers, staff, professors, nurses, utility workers, sanitation workers and other public employees- plain and simple. Florida’s lawmakers must not turn their backs on the workers who keep our state safe and prosperous!

No matter your background or beliefs, this is worth understanding. Please watch with an open mind and consider what it means for our families and our future.
