Raccoon Valley Snow Chasers Central Iowa's fastest-growing snowmobile club About our snowmobile club:

Our club includes members from Greene, Guthrie, and Dallas Counties of Central Iowa.

Mike Patten from Redfield is club president. Rod Scheuermann of Jefferson is club vice-president. Craig Flack of Jefferson is the safety director. Jim Wyckoff of Panora is media director. Our goal is to promote the great sport of snowmobiling, along with economic enhancement of local towns, through the use of an interlinking trail system in the Raccoon Valley area. Our club meets the 2nd Thursday

of each month. Come blaze new trails with us. We are excited to have been recognized by the Iowa State Snowmobile Association as winner of the 2011 "Club of the Year" award. The snow gods did not pay a good enough visit to the Lake Panorama area for riding, as we received maybe two or three inches of snow Thursday night, and then the wind blew it into mostly drifts and bare spots. Farther north and east, snowfall amounts were significantly higher.
