Orleans HomeGrown Farmers Market

​ Orange County Homegrown Farmers Market
Please join us every Saturday morning from 8am to noon on "Beautiful Congress Square"in Orleans. Orleans is "The Front Porch of Orange County" We are celebrating our 24th season, 23 of those have been on "Beautiful Congress Square".
This week, our "Family Friendly" event is with our friend Emily. They will be here from 10 am to 12 noon for a demonstration and information on Invasive Species in Indiana.

Thanks to a grant from SVBT, our Buck A Book has been remodeled and only takes one person minutes to set up ! Way to go Us! It now sits proudly on the North end of Second St. Right in the middle of the market. Our market depends on book donations. Please bring donations to the market any Saturday. For large donations please call 812-653-0977 and we will help you get them to us.
All kids 18 and under are invited to pick and keep a "new to them" book each market day. This includes disabled market visitors of any age We give out an average of 700 to 1000 children's books each season.

This week we have two "Family Friendly" events. The first event is "Art for kids with Cheara" She will bring the supplies for interested kids and teach a fun art project from 10 am to noon.
Our second event is information on all Invasive Species in Indiana and what to do about them. This will take place from 9am to noon.
