Somebody said we're against taxation because we just don't like the mayor.
No. We're against taxes because we're taxed enough already. It doesn't matter WHO proposes new taxes--Republican, Democrat, Independent, mayor, governor, president-- we're against it.
Fiscal responsibility is not a matter of personalities.

Tuesday, March 5th is the last day to stop the city from raising your taxes. Get out there and vote against more taxation!

Only 2 days left to vote against taxes!
Facts:
1. We are not "against" first responders. The city already takes enough of our money to fund essential services like public safety.
2. Paragould's combined sales taxes are already higher than Jonesboro's. And Arkansas sales taxes are 3rd highest in the country.
3. The city does not intend to cut back on using our money for pet projects. This so-called "public safety" tax is really to free up more money for their dreams of "gentrifying" Paragould. (DiscoverParagould2042.com)

Using the faces of first responders, babies, and burning houses was the only way the City could manipulate people into voting to raise taxes on themselves.

Vote AGAINST the city sales tax. We're taxed enough already.

All our city leaders, county judge, and even our U.S. representative have been bragging for years about how much revenue their projects will raise and how much their projects will boost the local economy. They can't have it both ways.

The city of Paragould already takes enough of our money to provide deserving first responders with a raise.
Vote against new city taxes and urge the city to prioritize essential services over pet projects.

Early voting continues at the Greene County Fairgrounds until March 4th. Election day is March 5th.

You will be voting against allowing The City to scare you into taxing yourselves, because they don't want to spend pet-project money on first responders.
