The City of Paris Fiscal Year 2026 - 2027 proposed budget would raise total property taxes by 43.7%.

The proposed increase requires voter approval (per SB 2 - Texas Property Tax Reform and Transparency Act of 2019 which limits how much cities can raise property taxes). If you pay City of Paris taxes, then you can expect this to be on your Nov 2026 ballot.

The 396 page proposed budget is in the comments.
