One of my favorite things about our community is seeing local businesses step up for local kids.

As another school year gets closer, it's encouraging to see businesses and individuals investing in education and helping families get students ready for success. It reminds us that building a stronger community isn't just the job of schools or parent its the job of the community.

Education is one of the most important jobs we have as a society.

I'm looking forward to helping MC Cricket Wireless's back to school event and seeing so many people come together for a great cause. I hope to see you there!

Spent some time today helping with customer appreciation day at Mid South Ag, and it was great seeing so many familiar faces.
Days like today are a reminder that our local businesses are more than places to shop. They're where neighbors meet, friendships grow, and community happens.
Thank you to everyone who came out, supported a local business, and made it such a fun day. Henry County is at its best when we show up for one another.
Big thanks to all the folks that came out and lended a hand!!

P.S. I had the easiest job of the day which was giving out all the prizes with my son.

I've always believed the best conversations happen face to face. That's where ideas are shared, questions are answered, and trust is built.

This campaign is truly grassroots, powered by neighbors, friends, and people who care about the future of Henry County. I'm grateful for your support.

Big thank you to James and Suzie Swor and Mark Atkins for opening their home and hosting a meet and greet tonight.
I had the chance to meet several people for the first time, answer questions, and talk about where Henry County is headed. Nights like this remind me why I'm running. There are a lot of people who care about this county and want to see it move forward.
Campaigns aren't won with signs, Facebook posts, or rumors. They're won one conversation at a time.
We're getting closer to August 6, and we're still putting in the work every day. I'm grateful for everyone who has opened a door, hosted an event, shared a post, said a prayer, or simply encouraged us along the way.
Thank you for the opportunity tonight. Let's keep going.

In 60 days the people of Henry County will make an important decision about our future.

Over the last several months I've had the opportunity to visit with people across our county, listen to concerns, hear ideas, and talk about where we want to go together.

I believe our best days are ahead.

With common sense leadership, responsible stewardship, and a commitment to getting things done, we can continue building a stronger Henry County for our families, businesses, and future generations.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged, supported, prayed for, and believed in this campaign.

The work isn't finished yet.

There's one thing I keep coming back to while reviewing this year’s county budget. A balanced budget today is not always the same thing as a sustainable budget long term.

I think we should be careful about creating permanent recurring expenses while relying on temporary or nonrecurring revenue sources to support them.

Without a long term plan to eventually cover those differences through growth, efficiency, or increased revenue stability, future budgets can become more difficult as overall costs continue to rise.

I believe Henry County should prioritize investments that improve efficiency, strengthen infrastructure, reduce outside costs where possible, and create long term growth opportunities for taxpayers.
