The Film Society is meant to be a platform for film lovers on campus to bond with each other and to share their similar interests. It is for film lovers out there who are intrigued by the power of communication through the use of media, and for those who just love a good film and want to share the joy of watching and talking about such films with friends. but across cultures) and organized trips t

o special film events such as the Sundance Film Festival, we will also be exploring filmmaking opportunities, so for anyone who ever wanted to be a film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, actress etc etc, this is your place to be. Part of our groups activities will also include analyzing film as a complex narrative form, so we'll be looking at how different filming techniques can influence our interpretation of the story being told.
