🎃 Local Trunk-or-Treat & Halloween Events Happening This Week 👻

Even though our Trunk N Treat won’t be taking place this year, there are still plenty of opportunities to celebrate Halloween right here in our community!

Check out this list of upcoming events, and if your business, organization, or group is hosting something fun, feel free to drop the details in the comments so we can help spread the word.

Oct. 28: Chick-fil-A Farmington – 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Enjoy games, dinner, trick-or-treating, and balloon animals.

Oct. 29: Desloge City Park – 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. (Rain date: Oct. 30)
Treats, snacks, and crafts for kids.

Oct. 30: Camelot Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (705 Grand Canyon Dr.) – 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Decorated trunks, live music, and food trucks.

Oct. 30: Sam Scism Ford (5019 Flat River Rd.) – 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Oct. 31: WIC/St. Francois County Health Department (1025 W. Main St., Park Hills) – 1:00 p.m. For ages 5 and under.

Oct. 31: Leadco Community Credit Union in Park Hills - 5:30 p.m.

Oct. 31: City of Irondale Trunk or Treat at Irondale City Park – starts at 5:00 p.m. Hosted by the Irondale Fire Protection District and the City of Irondale. Activities include chili, hayrides, a family movie at 7:00 p.m., and a scary hayride for adults from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m.

📢 Event Update: Trunk N Treat 2025 CANCELED

We sincerely appreciate and thank everyone who showed interest in this year’s Trunk N Treat. Unfortunately, due to lower-than-expected participation, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.

We are truly grateful to those who registered and continue to support the Park Hills – Leadington Chamber of Commerce. Your enthusiasm means so much to us.

While this wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, we look forward to exploring future opportunities to bring fun and engaging events to our community.

Thank you for your continued support.

If you’d still like to be part of the Halloween fun, here are several other community trunk-or-treat events happening in the area:

Again, we are truly sorry for the cancellation of this year’s event. It’s disappointing for all of us, and we deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support.

URGENT CALL FOR TREAT SPONSORS

This year’s Trunk N Treat is in jeopardy. As of this morning, we have just 12 treat sponsors committed. In past years, this beloved 20-year-old community tradition has averaged 25+ sponsors and welcomed nearly 1,000 trick-or-treaters.

To ensure that this event remains successful and enjoyable for the families who look forward to it every year, we must meet a minimum of 20 treat sponsors to move forward.

📅 Deadline: 3:00 PM TODAY
🚗 Needed: At least 8 more sponsors to make this event happen.

🎃👻🍬JOIN US FOR THE 19TH ANNUAL DOWNTOWN PARK HILLS ASSOCIATION'S TRUNK N TREAT, HALLOWEEN NIGHT FROM 5:30-7:00 P.M. 🤖👽🍫
It will be a spooktacular time with a total of 20 treat sponsors lining the street for this year's event!
This FREE COMMUNITY EVENT will be taking place in Downtown Park Hills on the 300 block of West Main Street.
Prepare to be amazed as decorated vehicles line both sides of the street and the abundance of candy will leave you spellbound!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing treat sponsors for their generous support, which helps to make this event a yearly community favorite!
To ensure you enjoy this years event to the fullest, we have inclued a map that shows the direction of the line and instructions for lining up. We want everyone to have the most stress free and enjoyable experience possible.
