West Virginia deserves leadership that works for the people again.

For too long, hardworking families across WV-2 have felt left behind while decisions get made by out of touch politicians and special interests. That’s not who we are. We’re builders, workers, neighbors and it’s time our government reflected that.

I’m running for Congress to help take back our local voice, restore accountability, and put power where it belongs: back in the hands of West Virginians. Together, we can rebuild an economy that rewards hard work, supports small businesses, strengthens our energy industry, and creates real opportunity right here at home.

This isn’t about left or right it’s about moving forward. It’s about pride in our communities, faith in our future, and making sure the next generation has more opportunity than the last.

The road ahead is bright if we choose it. Let’s bring back prosperity. Let’s rebuild WV-2 together. Be part of the change www.groundup2026.com

Fifty-three years after the Buffalo Creek disaster killed 125 people and left thousands homeless, it remains a dark example of negligence and political missteps in Southern West Virginia.

Investigations found the industrial waste dams were poorly built and unsafe, yet no evacuation was ordered before they collapsed, unleashing 130 million gallons of sludge.

Survivors received a modest settlement in 1974, but West Virginia’s lawsuit for $100 million in damages was abruptly settled for just $1 million by Gov. Arch Moore three days before leaving office. The decision sparked outrage, with critics calling it a betrayal of victims and a capitulation to special interests.

The controversy added to Moore’s long list of ethical questions.
