This morning the Passaic Fire Department had the opportunity to promote four members to their new ranks.

Captain Jorge Romero was promoted to Battalion Chief.
⠀
Firefighters Anthony Larkin, Brittani Rawls, and Angel Manzueta were promoted to Lieutenant. Lt. Rawls becomes the first female fire officer in department history.

Congratulations to all four members as they begin the next chapter of their careers.

Last week Battalion Chief Hrywniak and Lieutenant Policht attended the 36th Annual Congressional Fire Service Institute Summit in Washington, DC 🇺🇸🔥

While in the Capitol, they connected with Congressman Gottheimer and discussed key priorities for the fire service, including support for equipment, staffing, and future capabilities throughout the state 🚒🤝
