Public Notice: Night-time flushing will be ongoing from Sunday, July 12 through October.

Flushing will take place between the hours of 8PM-4AM.

You may experience some discoloration and/or a reduction in pressure.

The discoloration of the water will be temporary and is not harmful.

Running the cold tap for 5-10 minutes should flush out the discoloration.

The purpose of the Hydrant Flushing Program is to improve drinking water quality for residents and businesses.

ATTENTION: PWSB customers in Pawtucket:
In order to ensure that any and all lead water pipes are identified and replaced within our water system, the Pawtucket Water Supply Board is working to compile a comprehensive inventory of water service line materials. This includes all private water service lines, which are owned by the you, the customer.

This week, from Tuesday 6/23 through Friday 6/26, the EPA, the Get the Lead Out Initiative and representatives from our utility team will be out in your neighborhood's door-knocking to inspect and record your water service line material.
Completing this Inventory Helps Us:
• Understand local water needs and apply for funding.
• Identify and remove possible lead sources.
• Maintain drinking water quality.
