Pegram Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting

The Town of Pegram Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet Monday, August 31, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Pegram City Hall.

During the meeting, we will also welcome and swear in our two newly elected Aldermen, Sherri Martin and Landon Lyon.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. We hope you’ll join us as we welcome our newest members of the Board!

Pegram’s Annual Community Yard Sale is coming up Saturday, September 12!

If you’re having a yard sale and would like your address included on the Community
Yard Sale Map, please contact City Hall with your information by:

⏰ 3:30pm

📞 Call Pegram City Hall at 615-646-0773 to get your address added.

Maps will be available the week of the sale at Pegram City Hall, Finch’s Country Store, and United Community Bank, and will also be posted online.

📣 A QUICK NOTE ABOUT PEGRAM’S ANNUAL YARD SALE

We’ve had a few questions regarding yard sale hours and a rain date for our community-wide yard sale on Saturday, September 12.

⏰ Yard Sale Hours: The Town does not set or mandate specific hours for individual yard sales. Each participating resident is welcome to choose the start and end times that work best for them.

🌧️ Rain Date: The Town does not schedule an official rain date. In the event of inclement weather, participants are welcome to continue, postpone, or reschedule their individual sale at their own discretion.

The Town’s role is simply to help promote the community-wide event and provide a map of participating sales.

We appreciate everyone’s participation and hope for beautiful weather, lots of shoppers, and plenty of great finds! 🛍️🏡☀️

TOWN OF PEGRAM – COMMUNITY UPDATE

The Town of Pegram Board of Mayor and Aldermen will not hold a Workshop Meeting this Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Our next regularly scheduled Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting will be Monday, August 31, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Pegram City Hall. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

During the August 31 meeting, we will also hold the swearing-in of our two newly elected Aldermen, Sherri Martin and Landon Lyon. As we welcome our new board members, we would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to outgoing Aldermen Randy Howington and Michael Paszek for their dedicated service, time, and commitment to the Town of Pegram and our community.

🇺🇸 VETERANS SERVICES REMINDER:

The Cheatham County Veterans Service Office will be at Pegram City Hall on Thursday, August 13, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Veterans and their family members are welcome to stop by for assistance with veterans-related questions, benefits, forms, records, or other documentation needs.

📢 NOTICE: Pegram City Hall Closure

Pegram City Hall will be closed on Thursday, August 6, and will reopen on Friday, August 7, during normal business hours.

🗳️ Election Day – Thursday, August 6
While City Hall offices will be closed, the City Hall Conference Room will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM as the polling location for District 5, Precinct 2.

Please remember to vote at your assigned district and precinct polling location.

If you have any questions about your polling place, voter registration, or precinct, please contact the Cheatham County Election Commission at 615-792-4316.

Only your telephone number will be recorded in our records, no names nor other information. However, the phone number you provide is subject to the open records request. Since we are a governmental entity, this means individuals can request a list of all those who signed up for this service. Since we do not record any other information, the only thing on the list will be a list of phone numbers. This could possibly be cross-referenced online if you have posted your phone number on the internet, social media, or similar.

If you are in law enforcement or a crime victim that falls into the exempted category, you can call or email our office and we will notate that your number is not to be released (if you qualify in the exempted category) should we ever get a request.

Again, we are not collecting any information about you but your phone number, and by signing up for this service you are aware of and accept the potential risk that only your phone number may be released upon request. Thank you.

The Town is aware that the roadsides are in need of mowing. With the unusually heavy rainfall we've received this year, the grass has grown much faster than normal.

Unfortunately, the Town's roadside mowing tractor is currently out of service and being repaired. Once it is back in operation, our Public Works Department will immediately begin catching up on roadside mowing throughout town.

We apologize for the delay and truly appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we work through this unexpected equipment issue. Thank you for your support as we continue working to keep Pegram looking its best.
