Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Cheatham County Veterans Service Office will not be available at Pegram City Hall today as originally scheduled. We were just notified of this cancellation and apologize for any inconvenience.

🎆 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR PEGRAM'S 50TH ANNUAL INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION! 🎆

The Town of Pegram is looking for volunteers to help make our 50th Annual Independence Day Celebration a success on Saturday, July 4, 2026!

Whether you can help for a couple of hours or throughout the day, we have a variety of opportunities available, including:
⭐ Event registration
⭐ Children's activities and contests
⭐ Tournament assistance
⭐ Inflatable and activity monitoring
⭐ Setup and cleanup
⭐ General event support

This year's celebration is extra special as we celebrate both the 50th Annual Independence Day Celebration and the 50th anniversary of the Pegram Fire Department!

Need volunteer service hours? We can provide documentation for school, Tennessee Promise, community service requirements, and other volunteer programs.

Help us upgrade our radio communication system by purchasing a limited edition 50th Anniversary T-shirt or commemorative challenge coin.

Reliable communication is critical for emergency response, firefighter safety, and coordination with neighboring agencies. Every purchase and donation helps us improve our ability to serve Pegram and the surrounding communities.

To preorder, email: [email protected] with your name, phone number, shirt size, and quantity. Shirts available in youth S,M,L and adult XS-3XL.

Preordered shirts and challenge coins will be available for pickup at the Pegram Independence Day Celebration at Pegram Park. We will also have additional shirts and coins available for purchase until they sell out. Cash accepted onsite or Venmo .

All donations are greatly appreciated!

We're excited to introduce a brand-new event to the 50th Annual Pegram Independence Day Celebration — our Unified Kickball Game! 🇺🇸

This special event is designed to bring our community together through fun, friendship, teamwork, and inclusion. Players of all abilities will have the opportunity to take the field, make memories, and enjoy a game that celebrates what makes Pegram special by supporting one another and having fun together.

Whether you're playing or cheering from the sidelines, or we invite everyone to be part of this exciting new tradition!

🚧 SEWER REPAIR NOTICE – FRIDAY, JUNE 5 🚧
The Town of Pegram will be conducting sewer repairs beginning at 7:00 AM on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Affected areas include:
📍 Dogwood Drive to Weigelia on Highway 70
📍 Juniper Drive
📍 Hannah Ford Road

Residents in these areas are asked to limit water usage throughout the repair period, as portions of the sewer system will be temporarily shut down while work is completed.

Please avoid unnecessary water use such as:
🚿 Long showers
🧺 Laundry loads
🍽️ Running dishwashers
🚰 Excessive outdoor water use

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these necessary repairs to improve our sewer infrastructure.

As part of the 50th Annual Pegram Independence Day Celebration, we are excited to introduce a brand-new event:

👑 Ms. Pegram Golden Star 👑

This special event is open to ladies 65 years of age and older, and you do not have to be a Pegram resident to participate!

This is not a traditional beauty pageant. Instead, it is a celebration of the wisdom, life experiences, laughter, and stories that make each participant special.

Contestants will have the opportunity to share:�✨ Life lessons and advice for younger generations�✨ Favorite memories and experiences�✨ Family traditions�✨ Stories that inspire, encourage, and entertain

Each participant may be escorted by a child, grandchild, spouse, family member, or special friend as they are introduced to the audience. We'll learn about their hometown, family, hobbies, careers, accomplishments, and the things that have brought them joy throughout life.

Most importantly, there is:�❌ No swimsuit competition�❌ No talent competition�❌ No judging based on appearance�❌ No expensive dresses required
This event is designed to celebrate the women who have spent a lifetime making a difference in the lives of others.

❤️ A Celebration of Life, Laughter, Wisdom, and Community ❤️

🏆 The winner of the inaugural Ms. Pegram Golden Star title will be recognized as the Honorary Ambassador for the 2027 Pegram Independence Day Celebration and will be invited to participate in next year's festivities and parade.

Calling all adults 55 and older! Join us for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and friendly competition at our Senior Bingo Games during the 50th Annual Pegram Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026!

📍 Location: Parks & Recreation Building at Pegram Park

👑✨ PAGEANT SPOTLIGHT – PEGRAM'S 50TH ANNUAL INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION ✨👑

50th Annual Pegram Independence Day Celebration on Sat, July 4th, 2026

We are excited to continue one of our favorite traditions and invite everyone to come cheer on our amazing contestants throughout the day!
You do not have to be a Pegram resident to participate.

🍼 2:00 PM – Baby Divisions **Girls: 0–6 months & 7–12 months ** Boys: 0–6 months & 7–12 months

🎠 2:30 PM – Toddler Divisions. **Girls: 13–24 months & 25–35 months ** Boys: 13–24 months & 25–35 months

👑 3:00 PM – Miss Pegram Pageant. ** Wee Miss: Ages 3–5. ** Tiny Miss: Ages 6–8. ** Little Miss: Ages 9–12

We are excited to have this event coordinated by Kay Lampley with assistance from Cara Baker, and we appreciate all they do to help make this special tradition possible!

🙋‍♀️ Volunteers Needed! We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with contestant staging and lineup throughout the pageant. If you would like to help, we would love to hear from you!

👑 Special Invitation to Our 2025 Pageant Winners! As part of our 50th celebration, we would love to recognize last year's pageant winners during this year's parade! We would like to create a special section where our previous winners can ride folllowing each other in decorated vehicles or floats.
