Many thanks to the street crew and Chris Cousins for a prompt response to a street flooding incident in Grey Oaks this morning. Great job!
Hey! A water works truck is by our house and we have a geiser going on at our meter.
Please @CityofHelena @CityofPelham do something about this! This is ridiculous every morning. Takes me 30 minutes to go 2 miles #valleydale #helenaroad #morningcommute

City needs to treat/spray for gnats/flying insects at the Dog Park IMMEDIATELY!!!
This post was from yesterday. Still no word from anyone and the debris is still there all along Bishop Creek. I called the non emergency police line yesterday about this. The officer understood the dangers of the wood in the creek and said he would report it and recommended I follow up today. I have made 22 phone calls, all to voice mails. It is impossible to get a voice on the phone at the City of Pelham. I decided to contact the City of Pelham news. I spoke with Caroline, who then placed me on hold and spoke to Daniel Holmes (the sales manager?) who said they recommend I call the county commissioner. I asked if they would not want to do a story on this since they are the City of Pelham news and should care about the wildlife and beauty of the creek in our city. I get nothing! This is disgusting. I am hopeful the city will come out today to clean up the wood and I am praying they catch the idiots who threw it in the creek on the hottest day to date of this year. #cityofpelham #shelbycounty #wildlife
We need someone from the city to check out 1706 Burningtree Drive in Indian Hills. The woman died over 4 years ago and no one (family in Tennessee) has been here or done anything about it since the week or so after she died. The yard is overgrown. The house has not been cleared out or been into in over 4 years. I’m am reporting this as not only an eyesore, but a danger to our community. We live next door at 1704 Burningtree Drive. They had been using our yard man since last November. They owe him $250 for cutting the grass. He hasn’t done it since last year. Thank you!
Pelham Pack 404 is hosting the 2019 Shelby District Pinewood Derby at the Riverchase Galleria Mall!!! We are encouraging the public to attend and get a first hand look at how we serve the community’s youth. https://www.facebook.com/russelljoneswbrc/videos/2312076049082088?sfns=mo
Does the city of pelham have any plans to treat the roads in advance of the wintry weather forecast for Tuesday morning?
The Birmingham Iron would like to invite the City of Pelham to our Season Opener where we are giving away 20,000 shirts for our blackout game.
Thank you to the Pelham First Responders for their generosity making all the children at Linda Nolen Learning Center very happy today. Even my 14 year old was over the moon with his presents.....it meant a lot to so many of them! Thank you for all you do!
