This is a great place to have your happenings in Pendleton get the largest audience and because it is a web page you don’t have to worry about the Facebook algorithm hiding your post or event.

We will be transitioning this page and its calendars to the more sustainable web page which will also increase our search engine optimization.

Hello Friends
I know Nancy Hellams would be on top of all of the events coming up this Fall. The festival on the Green October 25 and all the season celebrations and Pendleton recreation and school events.

We all miss her so much.

We will try to keep this up here but please follow the Town of Pendleton and sign up for notices. Lindsey Watley is doing a great job of out reach and tracking events.

Keep doing the positive things that keep our town charming. Make Nancy proud.

When you hear the phrase “ We need to keep Pendleton like Pendleton” or you have fun at a festival or parade. Or you enjoy sitting out at an event on the green or playing at veterans park or Barrett’s Place. Take a minute and thank Nancy Hellams.
She would get the whole town out to volunteer for whatever event or need we had. She brought unity and community. Never divisiveness. Her porch was always open for a visit or an afternoon sip of wine
Pendleton is a little bit less Pendleton with her passing.
Let’s honor her legacy and pull together for the good of what got us us here

I miss you so much already my friend. Rest well. we have your back.

It takes a (Pendleton) village to
throw a sidewalk chalk festival!

Help us spread the word and don’t miss the Pendleton Area Business Association’s Last Splash of Summer and Sidewalk Chalk Festival on Saturday, August 16th from 10 am - 12 noon at the Pendleton Village Green (and thereabouts)!

There will be fun water activities for the kids on the Village Green, the Pendleton Police department will be passing out popsicles and Pendleton Fire Station 2 will have a fire truck in the Buddy Durham parking lot,
and, of course, there will be LOTS and LOTS of themed sidewalk chalk art from local businesses and organizations. We’ll have a map and list of the chalk themes. Kids can add their own creative art!

There will also be a tent on the Village Green where you can chat with people collecting signatures to run for local offices this fall.
