Legal Aid Services of Oregon (LASO)-Pendleton Regional Office-helps low income people in Gilliam, Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa and Wheeler counties by directly representing clients, giving legal advice, making self-help materials available and by working with local attorneys and organizations. We help people mainly in the following areas:

> Consumer
> Family Law
> Farmworker Issues
> Land

lord-Tenant
> Public Assistance (Cash Assistance, Disability Benefits, Medical, Food Stamps)
> Unemployment Compensation

Appointments to consult with a LASO attorney are made on a weekly basis. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed first and third Wednesdays of the month from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Outreach appointments:
Enterprise-the third Tuesday of every month. Call the LASO- Pendleton office in advance for an appointment. Hermiston- the second Wednesday and Friday of every month. Call the LASO Pendleton office for an appointment. Outreach appointments are also done in Fossil, La Grande and Milton-Freewater- call the LASO Pendleton office for an appointment. Spanish speaking staff are available.
