MBCJ Restaurant Coalition

MBCJ Restaurant Coalition (By partnering with local sponsors, NGOs providers, MBCJ Eateries, and you!) A year-round drive to collect used textiles for re-use and recycling.

Bridging the gap between food providers and food insecure families, ensuring access to healthy, fresh food through collaboration, education, and sustainable practices. We accept clothing, linens, stuffed toys, shoes, handbags, hats, belts, etc. Sorry, no carpeting. Items must be dry, but stains and rips are no problem. We'll happily take that dog-chewed old towel, and whatever else you can find!

Visit our website for more detailed information. As soon as the snow piles melt away, we will have outdoor collection bins at all six Hopewell Valley Schools. Watch this page for updates. In addition to helping the environment, we're raising money for our schools at the same time. We are working with SpinGreen, who pays us by the pound for the textiles, and then sorts all the items for reuse and recycling. For more information about their program, visit www.SpinGreen.com.

A massive thank you to our friends at Colonial Farms. They are supporting this wonderful initiative.

Foundation Academy offering Winter Wonderland so Trenton Foundation Families can get holiday photos. Farms and MBCJ Restaurant Coalition will be supplying fancy cookies and hot cocoa to make the day complete. Over 100 families have signed up (so we've planned for 400 people!) That's a lot of cookies & cocoa!

Should be a special day! ❤️

We are we could help make this happen. Thanks to Kenny Lobo Garcia for your generosity and Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County for doing the good work!

Holiday hunger is real for many Club kids—but thanks to an incredible partnership, relief is on the way. Thank you to Kenny’s Meals and MBCJ Restaurant Coalition for providing 300 fresh, ready-to-eat meals for our Club families each we ek through Dec. 19. This support brings comfort, nourishment, and peace of mind at a time when no family should have to worry about food.

We are to Lisa Wolff, Kenny Garcia, and the MBCJ for making this possible. Your leadership is making a real difference for kids and families this holiday season.

The MBCJ Restaurant Coalition partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County and Kenny's Meals to ensure children had meals not only after school but through the weekend as well. Kenny’s Meals generously reduced its prices so that, together with MBCJ, they could donate 1,200 fresh, wholesome meals. Over four weeks, the Boys & Girls Club will distribute 300 meals each Friday.

MBCJ Restaurant Coalition is happy to be supporting Foundation Academy's Winter Wonderland. Foundation families will get their holiday portrait taken. They are also looking for additional professional photographers to help out.

We will work with a local bakery and provide treats and hot cocoa for attendees. If you would like to help serve. Pls message me. (Also we'll share the bakery with you once it's confirmed so we can give them props!)
