Hey guys! Join Us for an Inspirational Evening of System Settings and Community Support for our widows and widowers. This Wednesday at 6 PM, we’re coming together for our first Soaring Spirits get-together. We’ll be diving into a “system settings” mini-workshop and spending some time writing in our journals together. It’s going to be a warm, supportive evening where we can all meet and lift each other up and remind ourselves that there are good things ahead. We truly can do this together-- as a community and not feel so alone.

If you haven’t signed up yet, we’d love to have you join us. Let’s come together, share some inspiration, and make each other a little stronger. DM me for any questions and the address where we will be gathering. See you there!

Hello Soaring Spirits Pensacola community,

I am so excited to invite you to our very first meet-and-greet gathering! This Wednesday at 6:00 PM, we’re coming together not just to meet each other, but to start building a supportive space where we can learn and grow together.

We’re calling this our “System Setting” session. Instead of focusing on big New Year’s goals, we’ll be exploring simple daily practices and systems that can help us navigate our days with a little more ease and connection.

If you’re new here, know that this is a place where you can be yourself and find others who understand. I’ll have journals for everyone so we can jot down ideas and inspirations. Let’s start this year off by coming together, sharing a little bit about ourselves, and building systems that support us as we go.

I can’t wait to meet all of you and begin this journey side by side. RSVP here or on the invite and I will send you more details. There might be some other surprises that night as well :)

As we step into a new year, so many of us are carrying something invisible but heavy: the ache of “another year without you.”

If the countdown felt more painful than celebratory… if you felt anxious, numb, tearful, or even a little disconnected while everyone else was cheering—please know this: you are not doing grief wrong.

New Year’s can be complicated when the person you love isn’t here to cross into it with you. And it’s okay if your heart isn’t ready to “move on.” You don’t have to leave them behind to keep living. You can bring them with you—through memories, traditions, quiet moments, and the love that still remains.

So if today feels tender, let it be tender.
If you need to go slow, go slow.
If you’re just trying to make it through, that counts.

And if you don’t want to do this year alone, you don’t have to. We’re here. Drop a ❤️ if you’re walking into this year with grief beside you—and let this be your reminder that you are held, seen, and not alone.

Join Us for a Heartfelt Evening with Soaring Spirits Pensacola!

Hello everyone, and I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! It’s been a little quiet on our page, as I had my 2 boys in town (haven't seen them since July) and the holidays were quite busy- but now that we’re settling into the new year, I’d love to invite you to our very first Soaring Spirits gathering.

We’ll be meeting on Wednesday, January 21st, at 6pm. This is a social, supportive space where we can share stories, enjoy each other’s company, and build a sense of community together. I would also love to talk about our goals and some systems that we have going into 2026 to help each other as we do this together. We’re still locking in the exact location (but it will be close to downtown), but we’ll keep it convenient and cozy.

If you are not a widow but know of one that this might help- please forward to them or invite them to join our page. I will also be starting a private group with widows only where I will be posting future events.

So mark your calendar, and let’s start this new chapter together. I can’t wait to meet you all and create a warm, welcoming space for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who is following-- whether you are local or just supporting from afar! I am super excited that Soaring Spirits Pensacola is launching — and everyone's invited.

Just to give you more info-- Soaring Spirits is a social, supportive community for widowed women who are ready to reconnect, laugh again, and gently heal through community and shared experiences. This is not a formal support group — it’s a place to build friendships, show up as yourself, and enjoy life together in a way that feels safe, understanding, and uplifting.

As this community grows, we’ll do fun, meaningful things together — from beach days and casual dinners, to meeting at local restaurants, coffee meetups, painting nights, and other activities that bring joy, creativity, and connection. Because healing doesn’t always happen in heavy conversations — sometimes it happens while laughing over a meal or watching the sunset with women who truly understand.

This first meet-up will be very relaxed — simply a chance to meet one another, connect, and begin building a local community rooted in compassion, strength, and hope.

You just need to show up — and we’ll walk this path together.
