🇺🇸 Supporting Veterans starts with a place to call home.

In May 2005, Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois opened the Wayne A. Downing Home for Veterans, a 15-bedroom facility providing intensive, holistic support tailored to each individual’s needs.

The program combines stable housing with individualized services designed to help veterans address barriers, build stability, and work toward meaningful change.

The Wayne A. Downing Home for Veterans is considered permanent supportive housing and is the only facility of its kind in Illinois.

🇺🇸 Labor Day Hours

Our Goodwill stores will be open on Monday, September 7, from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Regular store hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Fresh Spaces. Stronger Communities. ✨

Updates at our Pioneer Parkway and Washington retail stores are complete! Fresh paint, updated signage, and improvements throughout the stores have created cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable spaces for shoppers and team members.
