During the last week of June, Soldiers from the 1-106th Assault Helicopter Battalion and all three Army Aviation Support Facilities (AASFs) supported the readiness of the 33rd Brigade Combat Team by conducting joint training, including helocast, sling load, and air movement operations.
After this exercise, the 1-106th Assault Helicopter Battalion went into drill weekend, where its units conducted Aerial Gunnery, Crew Served Weapons Qualification (CSWQ), Individual Weapons Qualification (IWQ), aircrew training, Command Post (CP) operations, and Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training.
These events were critical in generating readiness and ensuring our Soldiers are always ready for whatever mission may come.
Commitment to Excellence, and Full Measure!
