We capped off a busy weekend by enjoying the kickoff of the summer concerts at Historic Jerusalem Mill Village. I've been a proud sponsor for several years.

I spent my Friday, Saturday and Sunday at numerous community events where we met people of all backgrounds - not just partisan activists.

It was a beautiful afternoon for the Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce crab feast at Conrad's Ruth Villa.

Great to see Josh Sines for County Council 8 and so many residents and business owners from eastern Baltimore County.

We live in a truly beautiful part of Maryland. This morning, I joined a jeep caravan touring historic places such as Waugh United Methodist Church Glen Arm MD, Historic Jerusalem Mill Village, and Cromwell Valley Park.

Waugh United Methodist Church, where "Runaway Bride" was filmed, hosts its annual strawberry festival next week.

I will continue to strongly support preserving our historic places and open space.

Onw of our favorite community events is the summer kickoff sponsored by the Harewood Park Communuty League.

It was terrific to join this beautiful waterfront neighborhood one last time as its Councilman. We know Josh Sines for County Council 8 will represent Harewood Park well, and it was great to have him and Barbara Sines join us tonight.

Baltimore County has about 800 farms, and one of the most iconic is the Prigel Family Creamery! This afternoon, the Maryland Department of Agriculture picked this spot for its statewide ice cream tour.

There are about 800 farms in Baltimore County. Many are part of the county's land preservation program, which we have expanded by 14,000 acres during my time as Councilman.

I voted to place Question B on the ballot that will consolidate farm functions under a county agriculture director.

Prigel was a perfect place to help celebrate the start of a season of summer fun and ice cream!

We are proud to support Serviceberry Farm !

We're a proud supporter of Serviceberry Farm, which many have known as TALMAR, an organization that provides programs for Baltimore County residents with disabilities, mental illilness, or brain trauma.

Baltimore County will award a grant of about $110,000 to remove and replace the trailer at the farm at Cromwell Valley Park. The new trailer will double the space, allowing Serviceberry Farm to help at least 300 people every year.
