Today, I met dozens of local residents at the Town Fair in Perry Hall.

There are few other opportunities to engage with so many people at one time - Democrats, Republicans, and unaffiliated voters and their families who shared their suggestions and concerns.

Candidly, it’s the local event where you expect to meet and talk to a candidate who wants your vote.

Thank you to everyone who helped out, and to my volunteers and colleagues who joined me.

We’ve been here at the Town Fair most of today. Great to meet so many people who care about this community - and who want strong bipartisan leadership to solve problems!

The Perry Hall Town Fair returns Saturday with live music, 100+ vendors, and a kids zone. The event has raised $170K for local groups.

Juneteenth commemorates the day Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce that the last enslaved Black Americans were free. This came more than two years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

Today, it is a holiday celebrating freedom, resilience, and Black history.
