Perth Amboy is in the news, and this one brings together two things close to our community: supporting our local restaurants and honoring those who fought in a war.

Taste of Perth Amboy returns Tuesday, October 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. aboard a Cornucopia Cruise Line vessel at 401 Riverview Drive. The boat will remain docked while guests sample food from participating restaurants and enjoy our waterfront.

This year, ticket proceeds will help cover the cost of engravings at the Veterans War Memorial on Sadowski Parkway, which honors those who fought in a war.

Thank you to the Perth Amboy Business Improvement Corporation and our participating restaurants for making this possible. I hope you’ll join us, discover a new favorite restaurant, and support this tribute.

Admission is $35, or $20 for seniors. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.

Perth Amboy está en las noticias por un evento que reúne dos temas importantes para nuestra comunidad: apoyar a nuestros restaurantes locales y honrar a quienes combatieron en una guerra.

Taste of Perth Amboy regresa el martes, 20 de octubre, de 5 a 9 p.m., a bordo de una embarcación de Cornucopia Cruise Line en 401 Riverview Drive. El barco permanecerá atracado mientras los asistentes prueban la comida de los restaurantes participantes y disfrutan de las vistas frente al agua.

Este año, los ingresos por la venta de entradas ayudarán a cubrir el costo de los grabados en el Monumento a los Veteranos de Guerra en Sadowski Parkway, que honra a quienes combatieron en una guerra.

Gracias a la Corporación para el Mejoramiento Comercial de Perth Amboy y a los restaurantes participantes por hacerlo posible. Espero que nos acompañen, descubran un nuevo restaurante favorito y apoyen este homenaje.
