The Pennsylvania Forward Party has endorsed Forward Independent Dennis Mahoney for Congress.

Mahoney brings more than a decade of disaster relief and humanitarian response experience to his campaign, along with a record of building partnerships – in Philadelphia and around the world – focused on food insecurity, education, and affordability.

"The Forward Party is committed to supporting leaders who have demonstrated a record of serving their communities and who are focused on practical solutions rather than partisan politics. Dennis Mahoney has spent his career showing up for people in crisis and building the kinds of partnerships that get real results. His campaign reflects the kind of independent leadership Forward is working to support across the country."

We are proud to endorse Shannon Jackson for PA House of Representatives! Shannon’s history with both major parties illustrates the Forward Party perspective that some of our most principled public servants don’t fit neatly into a partisan box.

Jackson is running against a long-time Republican incumbent in a rural district that voted R+35 in 2024. In such a district, typical Democrats face an uphill battle. However, as a former Republican – now a Forward Democrat – Jackson has the potential to appeal to voters outside the narrow Democrat electorate, like conservative independents and moderate Republicans. In Jackson’s view, government should be open, practical, and focused on helping people to thrive, regardless of party. He is a candidate for all voters.
