Our dietetic intern crushed her latest project: a Cava-inspired bowl taste test! Featuring fresh cucumber & tomato salad, rice, crispy protein, and a vinaigrette to top it off! It’s safe to say this was a hit with the NPHS students. Maybe you will see it on the menu next school year 👀

Did you know that eating seasonal Pennsylvania produce means more vitamins on the tray and better flavor in every bite? Since these veggies are harvested at their peak and travel just a short distance to our schools, they stay packed with the nutrients students need to power through the day.

Global flavors, big smiles, and empty plates! 🌎✨ We had an incredible time celebrating International Foods at Hatfield Elementary! It was a food world tour right in our own cafeteria, and it was so much fun watching the students try a little bit of everything.

From the sweet and savory plantains to the fresh crunch of our barbacoa tacos, our young food critics got to taste:
🌮 Barbacoa Tacos
🍌 Sweet Plantains
🌸 Cherry Blossom Chicken
🌿 Cilantro Lime Rice
🥦 Asian Stir Fry Vegetables
🍜 Woodles (a student favorite!)

A huge shoutout to Chef DeShields, the amazing North Penn School Nutrition team, and our dietetic interns for making this "buffet of the world" happen. Seeing the kids excited to try new cultures through food is what it’s all about!
