The North Penn Volunteer Fire Company, along with several surrounding agencies, recently celebrated a significant milestone. Earlier this summer, QRS Captain Nathan Ameel, in collaboration with the Upper Gwynedd Fire Department, Upper Gwynedd Police Department, Second Alarmers Rescue Squad, and VMSC Emergency Medical Services, successfully performed life-saving CPR on a patient. Following the intervention, the patient made a full recovery.

Captain Ameel and the entire team involved in this successful resuscitation were formally recognized by The Upper Gwynedd Township Board of Commisioners for their dedication and professionalism. This outcome underscores the vital importance of multi-agency cooperation in providing patients with a second chance at life.

🔥 A Piece of NPVFC History on Display! 🚒

This is our 1975 American LaFrance 100-foot midship ladder, representing 50+ years of fire service history!
Recently, this classic piece of apparatus made the trip to Philadelphia for a Fire Expo, where it was proudly displayed for fellow firefighters and fire-service enthusiasts to enjoy.

Even better, the ALF remains within the NPVFC family today, as it is currently owned and cared for by one of our current members. It’s great to see a piece of our company’s history preserved and still connected to the people who serve NPVFC today.

There’s something special about keeping the history and traditions of the fire service alive.
