Central Bucks EMS provides Emergency Medical Services at the Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support level for a truly diverse area that covers nearly 120 square miles, and services over 150,000 Bucks County residents. The areas we service include Doylestown Borough, Doylestown Township, Buckingham Twp, Wrightstown Twp, Solebury Twp, New Hope Borough, Plumstead Twp, New Britain Borough, New B

ritain Twp, Warwick Twp, Upper Makefield Twp, Warminster Twp and Ivyland Borough. With the size of the coverage area and residents serviced, CBEMS responds to nearly 11,000 9-1-1 calls for assistance annually. Central Bucks EMS currently operates 5 Stations throughout our coverage area. Our Main station located in Doylestown Borough staffs our business office and station 125 ALS and BLS units. At the Doylestown station, CBEMS staffs 2 daytime Advanced Life Support units and one nighttime ALS unit. Our sub-stations operate in Wrightstown Twp, New Hope Borough, Warwick Township and Warminster Township. Each sub-station staffs one Advanced Life Support ambulance 24/7, apart from New Hope Borough, which is covered with one Advanced Life Support Responder Unit 24/7. Central Bucks EMS units are staffed with highly trained EMT’s, Paramedics and Pre-Hospital Nurses. CBEMS providers are of the highest caliber, continuously displaying true professionalism and clinical knowledge needed to serve the community in which they work.

This past Friday, the team from Central Bucks EMS had the pleasure of visiting Ann's Choice to spend time with the wonderful staff and residents for an afternoon of EMS education.

We discussed what happens when you call 911, how EMS responds to emergencies, when to call for an ambulance, and answered many great questions from residents and staff. Our goal is not only to provide exceptional emergency medical care but also to help our community feel informed, prepared, and confident when emergencies arise.

Thank you to everyone at Ann's Choice for the warm welcome, thoughtful questions, and enthusiastic participation. We truly enjoyed the opportunity to connect with you and look forward to continuing to provide educational programs throughout our community.
