This page is an information source for the thousands of Garland County Residents who the City Board is in the process of annexing by force rather than by vote, and for the City residents who believe they should only be annexed after a proper legal election. This page is focused on the goals of:

1) Bringing the issue to a vote of city residents by use of the referendum procedure which requires 1,5

00 valid city voters signatures.

2) Defeating the city ordinance annexing Area B by litigation.

3) After the above 2 actions are far enough underway, as promised, the effort will shift to recall of the 5 directors that voted for the ordinance. (the first 2 actions are expensive, time consuming, and have 30 day deadlines. The recalls will start when most of that work and the referendum election is completed.
