The Celebration of Freedom Ceremony at the National Constitution Center, organized by the City of Philadelphia’s Office of the City Representative and Special Events in partnership with Wawa Welcome America, was a beautiful tribute to the spirit and resilience of our city. 

During the ceremony, Mayor Parker bestowed the Philadelphia Freedom Awards upon extraordinary individuals who embody the values of our city:

Colman Domingo: Philadelphia Freedom and One Philly Award for The American Voice 

Joseph & Jeanette Neubauer: Transformative Philanthropy Award

David L. Cohen: Civic Devotion  Award

Bishop Millicent Hunter: Faith, Courage and Service Award
