Rescue 57, Utility 57 and Fire Police are on scene of a Vehicle Accident with Unknown Injuries at the Intersection of Port Matilda Hwy (US Route 322) and E Presqueisle St in Philipsburg Borough. All lanes are open with the exception of the 322 E entrance lane from Presqueisle St. Use caution in the area, minor delays are possible.

🚨 TORNADO WARNING — TAKE COVER NOW! 🚨

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a TORNADO WARNING for portions of west-central Centre County and southeastern Clearfield County until 8:30 PM EDT.

⚠️ As of 8:11 PM: A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Osceola Mills, moving east at 30 mph. Radar has indicated rotation.

🌪️ HAZARDS: Tornado and quarter-size hail.

📍 AREAS IN THE PATH INCLUDE:
• Chester Hill, North Philipsburg & Philipsburg — around 8:20 PM
• West Decatur
• Brisbin
• Morrisdale
• Wallaceton

The warning also includes portions of Interstate 80 between the Kylertown and Snow Shoe exits, particularly mile markers 135–138.

🚨 TAKE COVER NOW!

Move immediately to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away from windows.

If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter immediately and protect yourself from flying debris.

⚠️ Flying debris can be extremely dangerous. Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed, and damage to roofs, windows, vehicles, and trees is possible.

🚨 ROADWAY REOPENED AS OF 12:30 AM 🚨

🚧 US ROUTE 322 CLOSED 🚧

Engine Rescue 57, Engine Tanker 57, Special Unit 57, Utility 57 and Fire Police are on scene of a Vehicle Accident with Entrapment on the 4200 Blk Port Matilda Hwy (US Route 322) in Rush Township. Fire Police from Port Matilda Fire Company, Morris Township Fire Company and Columbia Fire Company of Osceola Mills are assisting with the closure of US Route 322 between Philipsburg Borough and Port Matilda. The closure is likely to last several hours while the Pennsylvania State Police investigate the multi-vehicle crash.

The Philipsburg Fire Department is participating in an emergency exercise this morning at the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, 555 Geo Dr in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. Fire, EMS and Police resources will be in the area for the duration. Again, this is only a drill.
