The James Walton Home and Project Veteran's Pride have closed after providing transitional housing and services for 973 homeless Veterans with a 91% success rate. Founded as a Non-profit 501(c)3 by a group of Veterans in August of 2011 to provide a continuum of care through access to health care, transitional housing, job placement assistance and other supportive services. General information

The 3600 square foot facility is designed to serve as temporary housing to 20 homeless veterans, providing crisis/emergency safety, food, clothing and shelter. Partnerships have been established with community services which provide: - Transitional Housing Program for individuals and families - Job training and counseling - Psychosocial and Recovery and Rehabilitation (PRRC) operations within the VA Hospital system - Transportation to these services will be arranged through PVP for all individuals residing in the James Walton Home.
