Pearl River County E-911 Pearl River County E-911 is a consolidated dispatch center serving the entire county of Pearl River.

We have dedicated Dispatchers working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide emergency and non-emergency call taking and dispatching.

Pearl River County Central Dispatch phone lines will be going down within the next 15 minutes for scheduled maintenance and are expected to be unavailable for approximately 2–3 hours.

During this time:

* All 911 calls will be automatically rerouted to a neighboring agency.
* For non-emergency calls, please dial 601-916-9127.

We ask the public to please limit calls to emergency situations only during this time period.

Although Dispatcher Appreciation Week has come to a close, the dedication and professionalism of 911 dispatchers deserve recognition year-round.

Many may not realize that dispatchers are trained to manage multiple emergencies simultaneously. While calmly assisting one caller, they are often coordinating responses, dispatching units, and handling additional calls behind the scenes.

Their ability to remain composed and focused under pressure plays a critical role in ensuring timely and effective emergency response.
