Every year I visit lots of national parks in U. S. because I love nature, I’ve been several times to Yellowstone, Grand Teton and other national parks in Alaska and California, the experience with rangers and volunteers is been always amazing, they are very polite, friendly and respecful to people and wildlife.
We have some amazing, sweet, dedicated volunteers in the Smokies that do their job in a very respectful way, I can mention from Cades cove, Betty, Cathy, Steve, Bibi, Nancy, well I don’t know all the names but I get happy when I see them working because I know they will not ruin the nature experience for me and the visitors and photographers but this volunteer here in the video needs to calm down or find something else she likes to do in life, this is the 3rd time she showed up with her nasty actitud and ruin everything,
Yesterday there was not traffic jam, like 6 other photographers and me were waiting for momma bear to come back to her baby, she leaved the cub up on a tree while she was eating for 4 hours, when she came back we knew she was going to nurse the baby because she was gone for so long, unfortunately this volunteer showed up at the same time momma bear came back, she started screaming at us (that we were far away behind our cars) Me and two other photographers saw her pushing a man (very aggressive behavior) and of course with her screaming, she scared mama bear that was trying to nurse her baby right next to the road and ruined a beautiful moment you don’t get to see every day in nature 🥲 this volunteer is a photographer too, I’ve seen her taking pictures of the bears on her days off, as a nature lover she should be a little bit nicer to others, you can do your job without being rude and aggressive to others.
We love nature too that’s reason why we go to cades cove, we love wildlife, in other national parks they don’t have any problem with people watching wildlife and Great Smoky Mountains was amazing before, but now it’s turning into a nightmare🥲 some of them make you feel like you are no welcome there aymore🥲 I know this is national park but beeing in TN and NC this behaviors do not represent us, I will speak from TN because I am a TN resident, true TN people are very friendly, nice, polite simply lovely people that would go out of their way to help you with anything, I would love to see more of this people in our beautiful cades cove
