Well, it is a new year and the lady auxiliary. It’s always looking for new members. The ladies meet once a month to come up with ideas or things we can do for the community or the fire department the fire department and the rescue squad always needs something so the ladies have helped put down payments on ambulances Bought six wheelers and bought different pieces of equipment for the fire department. We also have to respond to structure fires, which that means you meet at the Firehouse to see if the men and women need anything while they’re on the call is a good way to get involved in the community You must be 18 we have about 4 to 5 active members. We have also done fundraisers from craft fairs to bingo to helping out at pancake breakfast anything to raise money and keep our little volunteer department running just a little bit more smoothly so if you’re interested, stop down with the Firehouse on any Monday night  at 6 o’clock to pick up an application from one of the fire department or rescue squad members that are always down there on drill night, we hope to grow our little group just a little bit bigger this year
